Stepping into The Olive Branch is like stepping back to a bygone age.  Don't be mislead, the bast array of gifts, jewellery, clothing and furniture is all fabulously modern and designed by today's leading innovators.  The sheer abundance of goods on display though is reminiscent of days when one shop stocked everything.

When owner Jill Atkinson opened her first shop in 2005 in the pretty Yorkshire Dales village of Addingham, she wanted to create a shopping experience that was lovely and friendly and almost magical.  A shop with a soul.  She also wanted to create a shop that whatever your pocket, you would be able to find a gift to suit.
